Privacy Policy

Road to Finals ("we", "us", "our") is an unofficial fan app for the 2026 World Cup. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to sell you access, let you log in, and keep the app working.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you buy. We use it to send your login link and onboarding email, and to grant you access. It is collected through our payment processor (Stripe) and stored on your customer record there.
• Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• A random device identifier generated in your browser, used only to enforce the "up to 2 devices" limit. It is stored in your browser's local storage and in your Stripe customer record. It is not a name, email, or location.
• Usage and analytics data via Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel (see "Analytics" below), which may include pages viewed, clicks, device/browser type, approximate region, and anonymised session activity.

We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, or date of birth, and we do not run a user database of our own beyond what is described above.

How we use it

• To process your one-time purchase and grant access to the team(s) you bought.
• To email you your login link and how to install the app.
• To enforce the 2-device limit and prevent account sharing.
• To measure and improve our advertising, and to understand and improve the product.

We do not sell your data

We never sell or rent your personal information.

Service providers we use

We share the minimum necessary data with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:

Analytics & cookies

We use Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel, which set cookies and use local storage to measure how the site is used and how our ads perform. You can opt out of much of this through your browser settings, ad-blockers, or your device's ad-tracking controls. The app itself uses local storage only to keep you logged in and to hold your device identifier.

Data retention

Your purchase and email are retained for as long as you have access, and as required by Stripe and applicable tax/accounting rules. Analytics data is retained per each provider's standard retention period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the address below and we'll help.

Children

Road to Finals is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
